Abstract: This case is notable for the potential overlap of hereditary alpha tryptasemia and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis. The successful use of mepolizumab, initially for eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis but potentially benefiting the patient's hereditary alpha tryptasemia, offers a novel approach to managing complex cases involving both rare disorders.
