Abstract: This article explores how neurodivergence and neurodiversity are understood in the clinical academic workplace of nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, health care scientists and pharmacists. We consider how neurodivergent people may behave or think differently to people who are not neurodivergent, and how inclusive and equitable academic cultures might be promoted.
