Abstract: The influence of natural electromagnetic fields of natural origin (GMA - geomagnetic activity) on biological systems has long been studied. With increasing geomagnetic activity, the dynamics of mitotic activity, increase in the frequency of chromosomal aberrations, and impact on the process of oocyte maturation and conception are noted. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the level of electromagnetic radiation with indicators of kinetic activity. Freshly obtained semen from Holstein breed bulls (n=10) in the amount of 360 samples served as a material for the study. Morphology and motility of spermatozoa were determined in automatic mode using CASA-technology. The study revealed that geomagnetic activity (Кр?5,0) significantly affects the decrease of the main variables of spermatozoa motility: by 14,5% of the average speed of movement, by 14,6% of the rectilinear speed (p<0,01), by 11,6% of the curvilinear speed (p <0,01), and as a consequence, an increase in 2,6 times in the proportion of spermatozoa with maneuvering and oscillatory movement (p <0,05). There was an increase in the total number of spermatozoa with pathologic form from 4.88% to 8.14%) (p <0.01). Thus, the results of our study confirm the influence of electromagnetic fields of natural origin (GMA) and quantitative and quality indicators of sperm.
