Abstract: The paper presents the theoretical dependencies that determine the power and productivity of a combined extruder. The theoretical studies obtained make it possible to calculate the performance of a combined extruder and the useful power spent on driving the screw based on its geometric parameters and the physical and mechanical properties of the processed raw materials and can be used in the design of extruders of similar design for use in other areas of production.
