Value-semantic Resources of Official Activities Subjects: Conceptualization of the Concept and Specificity of Manifestation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: From the standpoint of the value-semantic paradigm of personal development within the framework of the resource approach to ensuring service activities, an attempt was made to conceptualize the concept of "value-semantic resources of subjects of service activities". The article develops the idea of the existence of certain values and meanings of service activities, which become internal resources of subjects in difficult situations requiring mental stress and volitional effort. An analysis of the construct of "value-semantic resources of subjects of service activities" was carried out by defining its basic concepts: "meanings", "values" and "resources". The authors come to the conclusion that the value-semantic sphere of the individual is represented, on the one hand, by the value attitude to the surrounding world and service activities, and on the other hand, to oneself, as an intrinsic value. In this regard, understanding one's strengths and reflecting on one's positive qualities determines the axiological resource provision of service activities. The author gives the definition of the concept of value-semantic resources of subjects of official activity as individual psychological features of subjects, characterized by understanding the internal forces necessary for successful performance of official activity, endowing environmental objects with resource value, through attributing to them meaning (personal significance) and value (usefulness) for achieving certain (positive) results, in a broad sense - for maintaining and developing subject activity. The structure of value-semantic resources of subjects of official activity is proposed, which includes the categories: "values in action", and "personal virtues", "meaningfulness of life" "self-efficacy", "basic beliefs", "basic psychological needs".
