A numerical analysis of the radiative blood-based hybrid nanofluid flow over an exponentially extending heated surface using a porous medium

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Casson nanofluids play a vital role in augmenting heat transfer efficiency and are widely utilized in industries like heat exchangers and electronic coolant devices. Keeping these important applications in view, this work investigates blood-based Casson hybrid nanofluid flow on an exponentially stretchable sheet, by incorporating the convective and concentration slip effects. In this study, the Alumina and Titanium oxide nanoparticles are suspended in a base fluid (blood). Moreover, the behavior of porosity, thermal radiation, joule heating, and Arrhenius activation energy are considered in the modeled problem. The leading equations are solved via MATLAB's inherent function bvp4c in dimensionless form. In this work, it is noted that both the velocity profiles are diminished with an expansion in magnetic and porosity factors. The rate of heat transport augmented by the growth in Biot number, thermal radiation factor, and Eckert number. The skin friction coefficient in both directions is declining against growth in magnetic field, Casson, and stretching ratio parameters. The Sherwood number improved with the larger values of the chemical reaction and Schmidt number.
