Abstract: If we look at how the rights ofinheritance has been reflected in the Constitu-tion of Mongolia we will clearly see that it hasbeen only generally defined; as it is stated that“Mongolian citizens will be assured the rightsof inheritance”. The rights of inheritance as akey component of civil law are also systemizedto be a part of property rights. The legislationon property rights includes the rights to fairacquisition, possession, use and inheritance ofproperty to others. This article is aimed at theidentifying the unique features of inheritancerights as belonging to civil law and improvingthe legal basis for regulating the rights of in-heritance.
