Abstract: Alongside significant recent advancements in drugging an historically notorious oncogene, scientists continue to uncover new ways to target KRAS. This viewpoint summarizes the newly reported discovery of a novel chemical template that features the ability to tailor inhibition to different activation states of nucleotide-bound KRAS from the same scaffold.
