Abstract: Chronic Obstructive Pmonary Disease (COPD) represents a significant global health issue, contributing substantially to morbidity and mortality across the world. The burden of the disease is affected by various demographic factors, socioeconomic conditions, lifestyle choices, and comorbidities. This study investigates the demographic and clinical characteristics of COPD patients, focusing on comorbidities, medication usage, smoking habits, and socioeconomic factors. It reveals significant trends in disease progression and management. The findings indicate a higher prevalence of COPD among males, with hypertension (62.5%) and diabetes (31.25%) identified as the most prevalent comorbidities. The primary medications administered were bronchodilators (75%) and inhaled corticosteroids (62.5%).Socioeconomic disparities, such as low educational attainment and financial instability, adversely affect the management of COPD and adherence to treatment. These findings emphasize the necessity of early diagnosis, smoking cessation, patient education, and a multidisciplinary approach to enhance health outcomes for individuals with COPD.
