Abstract: Despite over 80% of women in the United States having access to cervical cancer screening, approximately 37% to 77% are lost to follow-up after an abnormal result.1 Risk factors of colposcopy nonadherence are well documented and reflect the populations that are most at risk for developing cervical cancer, including being Black or LatinX, residing in inner-city or rural neighborhoods, and having lower levels of education or socioeconomic status.2 In these populations, over 60% report that unmet social needs play a large role in their limited ability to adhere to colposcopy.
