Abstract: The article attempts to answer two questions. First, is there anything specific to the process of constitutional interpretation? Second, are dedicated normative theories of legal interpretation necessary or essential for the interpretation of the constitution. Among the features of constitutional interpretation, special attention was paid to the object of interpretation, the knowledge necessary to interpret the constitution, the course of the process, the role of the interpretation, and its results.
