Abstract: Graves disease has been associated with hematological abnormalities including anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia. Pancytopenia is a rare complication that is not often encountered. Here, we present a case of a 54-year-old woman diagnosed with Graves disease who was treated with radioiodine ablation in the setting of neutropenia. Two weeks later the patient developed pancytopenia thought to be autoimmune secondary to Graves disease. Prednisone was initiated with improvement of her pancytopenia.
