Abstract: This study analyzes the performance Bombril by artist Priscila Rezende, created in 2010 and performed to this day, and its presence in different artistic-performative events in different Brazilian regions, correlating the work and confronting everyday racism. We seek to understand the immediate corporeality of the performer and her artistic endeavors as a viable strategy for confronting colonial violence and its echos today. For this, we investigated the different materialities making up the work based on essays, interviews and other news sources about the artist in question, outlining a reflection on such poetics and its connection with different spectators.
