Abstract: Aiming at the baggage jamming phenomenon caused by the mismatch of the deepening design parameters of the injection port of the baggage handling system (BHS). Based on the orthogonal test with three factors and three levels, the effects of different injection speeds, acceptance speeds, and injection heights on the luggage centering rate were investigated by frequency analysis, polar analysis and analysis of variance, and an optimization scheme for the combination of the deepening design parameters of the injection port was given. The results show that: the injection speed has the greatest influence on the luggage centering rate, followed by the injection height difference, and finally the acceptance speed; the optimal combination of deepening design parameters can make the luggage centering rate reach 93.69%. The results provide a design solution for the deepening design of BHS and also provide a solution to improve the smoothness of BHS transportation.
