Research on the stability of cigarette ventilation rate

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Through experimental analysis of the influence of cigarette materials on the ventilation rate of cigarettes, the ventilation rate of cigarettes tends to stabilize. Method: By conducting experiments on the relevant factors affecting the ventilation rate of cigarettes, the equipment process parameters were optimized, and the effects of cigarette materials produced by different suppliers on the ventilation rate of cigarettes were compared. Result: When producing Lanzhou (Hard Ruyi) brand cigarettes, the normal glue application amount of the control roller used is 0.182mg/tube, and the width of the glue free area is 8mm, which is suitable for use in the production of C filter rods. In order to maintain a stable ventilation rate when using the D filter rod, the amount of glue applied should reach 0.1835mg/tube, so the corresponding width of the adhesive free zone should be 7.7mm. This is the theoretical standard for processing the adhesive roller (F). Conclusion: Continuous tracking and verification of production were conducted. When using the C filter rod for this brand of cigarette, the control rubber roller E was installed, and the gap between the washboard and the kneading wheel was adjusted to 8.2mm. The average ventilation rate of the cigarette was 29.7%; when using the D filter rod, install the control rubber roller F, adjust the gap between the washboard and the kneading wheel to 8.1mm, and the average ventilation rate of the cigarette is 30.4%. It can be seen that theoretical modeling to obtain the optimal solution has a significant guiding effect on actual production. By adjusting the amount of adhesive applied to the packaging paper and the gap between the washboard and the kneading wheel, the ventilation rate of cigarettes can be effectively controlled, which can be applied to improve the quality of cigarettes in cigarette production.
