Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of the information behavior of the manufacturing company. The analysis of the scientific literature shows that information behavior is the communication of information by individuals consisting of more than one element of information acquisition and use. The empirical research shows that the employees of the manufacturing company need to develop competence in information behavior. Therefore, it can be said that large amounts and abundance of information are creating new tools faster than company employees learn to work with them, and additional attention should be paid to avoid the resulting lack of information behavioral Keywords: information behavior, manufacturing company, information competencies.
