A green light for phytosensors?

Abstract: As sentinels, transgenic phytosensor plants alert farmers rapidly to stressful conditions in crop fields. However, if improperly managed, accidental commingling of phytosensor plants with the bulk harvest could disrupt trade and raises safety concerns. With these crops nearing commercialization, proper risk management, including segregation and risk analysis, is imperative.
