Abstract: Maternal mortality rates remain high, encompassing women's health issues such as pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Efforts to reduce these rates are necessary. One such effort is providing quality services from pregnancy to contraception. Pregnant women undergo physical and emotional changes that can cause anxiety, especially when approaching childbirth. To address these issues, STIKes Columbia Asia, in collaboration with RSI Malahayati Medan, conducted a community empowerment activity in the form of educational sessions focused on childbirth preparation for pregnant women. The main objective of this activity was to enhance participants' understanding of childbirth preparation. The methodology used included online and offline community service activities attended by 20 pregnant women. The analysis of pre-test and post-test questionnaire results showed a significant difference in participants' knowledge about childbirth preparation before and after the community service activity, with a P-value < 0.05. This community empowerment initiative proved effective in increasing participants' knowledge regarding childbirth preparation.
