Abstract: This paper examines Algeria’s strategic role in the European natural gas market, focusing on its LNG industry and the challenges posed by increased competition and shifting global energy dynamics. Through an analysis using Porter’s Five Forces model, the study highlights Algeria’s strengths, while also addressing the threats from emerging exporters and the shift towards renewable energy in Europe. The paper concludes with strategic recommendations for Algeria to maintain its market position.
