In this study using qualitative methods obtained from the results of interviews and documentation with informants of parents of children with visual impairments. In an effort to build and shape their independence can be done by providing a supportive environment, providing positive support, providing opportunities for children to learn, and forming children's habits can help shape independence in children with multiple visual impairments. There are several inhibiting factors in teaching independence to children with multiple visual impairments related to intense motor skills such as eating, drinking with a glass, writing, reading, and lack of social interaction. Basically, blind children with multiple disabilities can be taught independence by using democratic parenting like previous studies that used democratic parenting but the level of independence is different from children with ordinary blindness.
