High Damping Related To Anelasticity Of Mn-Cu-Alloys

Abstract: The dynamic relaxation spectrum of tree Mn-Cu alloys for a broad temperature interval -293-973K is investigated in order to determine the micro-plastic behavior of the material at levels of relative deformation at the range of 10 -4 -10 -2 .The amplitude dependence of internal friction (IF) shows presence of tree zones of deformation amplitudes and possible dislocation mechanism of hysteretic damping and micro-plasticity in material.
