Abstract: This article explores the relationship between theology and bioethics, two disciplines that, although seemingly distant, share a profound interest in human dignity, life, and morality. Through an interdisciplinary analysis, the theological foundations underlying contemporary bioethical debates are examined, particularly in issues such as the beginning and end of life, genetic manipulation, and justice in the distribution of health resources. The article concludes that theology offers a valuable framework for addressing bioethical issues, providing a comprehensive perspective that goes beyond the purely scientific or utilitarian.
