The Portuguese legislation will be examined in the same manner. The article intends to demonstrate the similarities between these legislations, their alignment with international criminal law, and their importance in combating and preventing terrorist practices, with a special focus on the forms of criminal prosecution and the legal instruments used to investigate and punish such crimes in Brazil and Portugal, whilst maintaining the integrity and legitimacy of the current legal framework.
