Anatomical and physiological substantiation of a differentiated approach to the correction of physical development of higher education students in the process of physical education
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The relevance of the study is due to the decline in the level of physical development and physical fitness of student youth. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and test the effectiveness of the experimental program of correction of physical development of higher education students, taking into account the differentiated approach by means of physical education. Research methods: theoretical (analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization, theoretical modeling); pedagogical (testing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, survey (questionnaire); medical and biological (anthropometric, physiometric measurements of physical health indicators); methods of mathematical statistics. Organization of the study. The study was conducted at the Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav in September- October 2024 among bachelors of the Faculty of Science Education. Results. It has been established that correction and improvement of the physical condition of higher education students in higher education institutions is possible by optimizing health work, which combines partial correction of the content of regulated classes (in the amount of 10% of class hours) and independent classes on general and special training in individual, group, optional organizational forms. When organizing independent classes, the criteria for a differentiated approach are the level of physical fitness, health status and gender, which should be taken into account when selecting means and dosage of loads. Conclusions. The introduction of an experimental health program into the educational process contributed to the improvement of students' physical fitness, functional capabilities of their body, as well as motivation for systematic physical exercises.
