A Mathematical Model for Analyzing the Behavior of COVID-19 in Dominican Republic
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In this paper a mathematical model is constructed and theoretically examined to analyze the transmission mechanism of COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic. The mathematical model is represented by 8 states, called SEPaIATRISV. The main mathematical properties of the model have been proved, such as the non-negativity of the solutions, as well as the existence and uniqueness of the solution. In addition, the equilibrium points were determined as well as the control number Rc and the basic reproduction number, R0. Finally, the sensitivity analysis and numerical simulations of the model were performed.
