Abstract: I enjoy making pieces through a nostalgic lens. My aim is to turn the memories of past items into art. I want the audience to have an additional way to appreciate a nostalgic item, outside of the item itself. As the audience views this painting, they may be reminded of childhood happiness—about a time in their life when there was less to worry about. 2000s Nostalgia, 2024. Acrylic on canvas, 18’’x24’’.
