Analisis Spasial Temporal Perubahan Luasan Hutan Mangrove Di Kecamatan Lakudo
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The mangrove forest in Lakudo District is indicated to have undergone changes in area. Remote sensing technology can facilitate the analysis of mangrove areas from various years and their distribution. The geographical location of mangrove ecosystems in the transitional area between land and sea provides a distinctive recording effect compared to other terrestrial vegetation objects. This research was conducted in Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency, and aims to: (1) analyze the spatial temporal changes in mangrove forest area in Lakudo District in 2013, 2018, and 2023; (2) analyze the causes of spatial temporal changes in mangrove area. The data used in this study are Landsat imagery from 2023, 2028, and 2023. Data were analyzed using the maximum likelihood method, overlay, and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that: (1) the area of mangrove forest in 2013, 2018, and 2023 was 241,52 acre, 124 acre, and 131 acre respectively, with the largest mangrove forest located in Matawine Village; (2) the causes of changes in mangrove forest area are anthropogenic factors resulting in land use changes and natural factors due to natural mangrove growth.
