Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Historical issues from 1920 to 1956 raised a series of political and national problems, especially due to the advancements achieved by the Eastern Renaissance in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. This profound influence contributed to the emergence of national and political thought in Morocco since 1920, despite the blockade imposed by the protectorate authorities on Moroccan elites, particularly the intellectuals, who saw moving towards the East as the only alternative to acquire the necessary political knowledge to confront colonialism and reclaim Morocco's freedom and independence.
