Foresight Scenarios for Automating Educational Supervision in Saudi General Education through Integration with Artificial Intelligence (2026–2035)

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aimed to develop foresight scenarios for automating educational supervision in Saudi general education, integrated with artificial intelligence, for the period 2026–2035. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining descriptive-analytical analysis of key documents with scenario-based future studies methodology. The sample included over (42) diverse official documents. The study produced three main scenarios: (1) the baseline scenario, reflecting a static and low-cost continuation of current limitations in automation infrastructure; (2) the reform scenario, offering moderate improvements through partial fulfillment of automation requirements, presenting a more optimistic outlook; and (3) the innovative scenario, presenting a comprehensive and creative model that fully supports educational supervision automation. Despite higher implementation costs, the innovative scenario was found to be the most effective and sustainable. The study also proposed five practical programs and projects, along with targeted recommendations to ensure successful implementation.///هدفت الدراسة إلى بناء سيناريوهات استشرافية لأتمتة الإشراف التربوي في التعليم العام السعودي بالتكامل مع الذكاء الاصطناعي خلال الفترة (2026–2035).
