Abstract: The present paper deals with the determination of 11 elements in seven medicinally important plants collected from Western Ghats of Maharashtra using ICP-OES technique. The concentration of these elements in these plants showed following order: Ca > Si > Mg > Na > P > Fe > Al > B > Zn > Mn > Cu Bioavailability of above elements was also estimated using in-vitro technique. The report also covers statistical analysis of the data obtained.
