Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In this study, we effectively analyze the background research according to the main characteristics of porous silicon-based biosensors and explore various signal modifications and application possibilities. This allows porous silicon to evaluate the biosensor platform anchoring site advantages and relationships to move directions to improve them.Biosensors are a field of research that exploits nanostructures and porosity to develop sensors with high selectivity and high component sensitivity.Porous silicon (PSi) is a porous form of silicon. Its structure has a large surface area and numerous pores, which can promote interactions with various biological molecules.Porous siliconbased biosensors can achieve sensitivity and selectivity by providing a large surface area.In addition, it is suitable for electrochemical measurement, allowing quantitative measurement of the concentration of analytes, and its unique optical properties make it useful for biosensors using spectral analysis and optical detection.Porous silicon-based biosensors are easy to manufacture at a relatively low cost and can play an important role in monitoring the physical and chemical environment.Various chemical applications can be studied using nanostructures, and porous silicon-based biosensor research has a wide range of application possibilities in various fields, and it is expected to develop further through continuous research and development.
