Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore the response capabilities that affect organizational members' smart work satisfaction. In this study, we focused on organizational members' smart work satisfaction, which is an important factor when introducing and operating smart work, and divided the organizational response capabilities into individual and organizational aspects to confirm their influence on smart work satisfaction and results. To this end, a survey was conducted on 281 corporate executives who implement smart work, and an analysis was performed using structural equations. The study results confirmed that (1) the knowledge of management regarding smart work is the main antecedent factor for satisfaction and performance, (2) the organization's smart work infrastructure and organizational culture that allows members to actively utilize smart work are important, and (3) a satisfying smart work environment also has a positive impact on individuality. This suggests that management in organizations that have introduced smart work must take a continuous interest in helping employees use smart work efficiently and that efforts are needed to create an organizational culture that can improve the negative perception of smart work due to the influence of the Confucian cultural sphere. It also suggests that in the medium to long term, the smart work platform needs to expand beyond simple information and communication to non-verbal communication.
