Integrating Finite Element Analysis into Structural Testing Course for Enhanced Practical Learning

Abstract: Within recent years, the finite element analysis method has been widely applied in the field of engineering; it is a strong weapon to solve complex engineering problems. In this paper, the problem is discussed: the usability of finite element software analysis instruments inclusion within "Structural Testing" course experiments. By means of applying finite element analysis for solving tasks, students will be enabled to make real-life applications of theoretical cognitions and thus more deeply apprehend theoretical knowledge and strengthen the skill of solving practical engineering problems.
