Research on the Digital Reform Strategies of Higher Education Teaching from the Perspective of Cultivating New-quality Talents

Abstract: The cultivation of new-quality talents is the core task for higher education to meet the development needs of new-quality productive forces. This paper systematically analyzes the connotations, characteristics and core competencies of new-quality talents as well as the differences between them and traditional talents, clarifies the new requirements put forward by the development of new-quality productive forces for talent cultivation in higher education. A practical pathway for digital reform in higher education teaching is proposed, including: empowering deep classroom learning with digital technology, building intelligent subject platforms, developing "AI+X" interdisciplinary micro-specializations, and constructing digital twin practice platforms. The study finds that digital reform in higher education teaching, from the perspective of cultivating new-quality talent, can significantly enhance students' learning motivation, learning experience, and learning outcomes.
