Abstract: The "digital divide" exacerbates the inequality between urban and rural education. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is a strategic choice to cross the "digital divide" between urban and rural areas and promote the leapfrog development of rural education. By consolidating rural digital infrastructure, enhancing people's awareness of artificial intelligence, and constructing a perfect artificial intelligence support system, we can promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and rural education, promote the quality development of rural education, and realize the fairness of urban and rural education.
