AIGC-enabled Cultural and Creative Product Design Exploration: Macao Intangible Cultural Heritage Dragon Dance Element as an Example

Abstract: With the continuous development and innovation of science and technology, the role of Artificial Intelligence Generating Technology (AIGC) in design innovation will become increasingly prominent. This paper explores the application potential of AIGC technology-enabled cultural elements in cultural and creative product design, explores the design mode of AIGC-enabled cultural and creative products, and summarizes the process and method of AIGC-enabled cultural and creative product design. Take Macao's non-heritage dragon dance cultural elements as an example for AIGC to generate image samples with unique Macao characteristics, and optimize the processing for the design practice of cultural and creative products. It is confirmed that with the empowerment of AIGC technology, the design efficiency can be improved and the cultural elements can be given new connotations and design expressions, so as to promote the utilization of Macao's cultural heritage and the innovation of cultural and creative design.
