Abstract: Introduction. The paper presents the results of reviewing the monograph by R.V. Amelin, S.E. Channov “Evolution of Law under the Influence of Digital Technologies” (Moscow, NORMA Publ., 2023. 280 p.). Results. The monograph contains a comprehensive analysis of current problems arising with the evolution of law in the context of digitalization of all spheres of public life. The need for the emergence of new legal norms, institutions and even sub-branches of law, arising as a result of changes in traditional social relations and the formation of new ones, due to the capabilities of digital technologies, is substantiated. Various aspects of the mutual influence and mutual penetration of law and modern digital technologies, trends associated with the evolutionary development of institutions and branches of law, objects and subjects of legal relations, the conditions for a significant transformational transformation of established legal concepts and concepts are described. The influence of modern information technologies not only on social relations regulated by law, but also directly on the law itself (the legal system) is considered.
