Abstract: The purpose of this study is to understand the differences in the inhabitants’ evaluations of riverside open cafes based on the differences of situation of using. Therefore, we conducted a survey of the cognition and evaluation of inhabitants toward riverside open cafes in Hiroshima City. As a result, we found differences in the evaluation of riverside open cafes by each group, which was categorized based on differences of situation of using and their attributes.
