Asymmetry of Form and Content in the Arabic Language: Way of Expressing It Through the Adverb of Manner in Simple Sentences

Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of the asymmetry of form and content in the Arabic language, specifically the way it is expressed in a simple sentence. Special attention is given to the role of adverbs of manner. The analysis shows that that linguistic units can alter the semantic content of a sentence, creating semantic shifts between form and content. As a result of the study, the main mechanisms of such asymmetry have been identified, as well as their impact on the interpretation of statements in the Arabic language.
