E-9 | Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement Among Patients With Marfan Syndrome and Differences in Outcomes
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Marfan syndrome is a connective tissue disorder often leading to cardiac issues, particularly aortic root dilation, which may require surgery. While surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) is well-documented in the general population, data on its perioperative and postoperative outcomes in Marfan syndrome patients is limited. We propose a study to explore complications in this patient group undergoing SAVR.
