Abstract: This research, titled "The Role of Banking Service Quality in Maximizing the Profitability of Islamic Banks" From a main issue that is the lack of knowledge regarding the extent to which service quality standards are applied in Islamic banks.In addition to the lack of knowledge about the role it plays in maximizing the profitability of Islamic banks."The aim of the research is to clarify the role of banking service quality in maximizing the profitability of Islamic banks through studying and analyzing the quality level of the banking services provided in Islamic banks, and identifying their most valuable and important dimensions in enhancing the profitability of Islamic banks.To achieve the objectives of this research, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to all members of the research sample, which consisted of 40 individuals working at the government-owned Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank, including managers, officials, and employees.The descriptive analytical method was adopted in order to complete this research, The research concluded with several findings, the most important of which is that Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank applies internationally recognized banking service quality standards.Moreover, adopting the requirements of banking service quality significantly contributes to increasing the profits of Islamic banks and enhancing the return on equity as well as bank assets, Additionally, the adoption of banking service quality standards contributes to creating a competitive advantage that increases the rate of banking expansion and the density of Islamic bank branches.Furthermore, the commitment of Islamic banks to fulfill their promises and obligations to customers holds significant relative importance in gaining customers reliance on Islamic banking services.
