Abstract: Cooperatives are a pressing and highly significant topic in our contemporary era, particularly in the face of economic and social challenges confronting many countries amidst the growth of capitalist ventures and the dominance of liberal ideology. This is due to the fact that cooperatives present a viable socio-economic alternative for vulnerable groups and strive to achieve the economic and social objectives of developing countries in particular. This study seeks to affirm this notion through an analysis of the role of cooperatives in achieving social inclusion, with a focus on youth and women in the rural areas of Moulay Yaacoub province. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with cooperative heads and managers to collect data. The collected data was analyzed using the qualitative analysis software ATLAS.ti.The findings revealed that cooperatives contribute to enhancing the role of women and integrating them into the economic market, while also providing permanent or temporary job opportunities for rural youth. Moreover, the cooperatives studied are characterized by a cooperative and solidarity-based ethos.
