Abstract: The study aimed to test the impact of game-based learning platforms on motivating students towards e-learning in Palestinian universities.More specifically, I aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of these platforms through their main components: game mechanics, game dynamics, aesthetics, ease of use, interactivity, and feedback. In addition to assessing the level of students' motivation by considering factors such as participation, interest, satisfaction, confidence, achievement, and attitude. The study relied on the use of quantitative and qualitative approaches.Quantitative data was collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to students, while qualitative data was obtained from interviews with faculty members. The sample consisted of 423 participants from four universities: Al-Istiqlal University (PASS), Arab American University in Jenin (AAUJ), Al-Quds Open University (QOU), and Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) .The study found a statistically significant effect for all dimensions of game-based learning platforms on motivating students towards e-learning in Palestinian universities. The results also revealed that there are significant differences in the effectiveness of the components of the game-based learning platform across the universities that were studied. The Arab American University of Jenin and Palestine Polytechnic University reported higher effectiveness in game mechanics, game dynamics, aesthetics, ease of use, interactivity, and feedback compared to Al-Istiqlal University and Al-Quds Open University. Finally, the content analysis identified several key challenges and barriers to implementing game-based learning platforms. These included technical issues such as unreliable Internet access, resource constraints, resistance to change among faculty and students, lack of training, high implementation costs, difficulties in integrating platforms with existing curricula, student engagement issues, complexities in assessment and evaluation, and cultural problems.Barriers .Based on these findings, the study recommends the following: improving digital infrastructure to ensure reliable access to the Internet, providing comprehensive training
