Abstract: The aim of this article is to review the implications of the creation of homogeneous therapeutic groups in terms of the diagnostic category as the main selection criterion (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa or Binge Eating Disorder). Based on a clinical situation in a day hospital for Eating Disorders, different organizational levels are analyzed to promote awareness of how social hierarchies are reproduced and their impact on the achievement of the task
