Abstract: The shifting face of medicine is witnessing a remarkable combination of engineering and neurology.Mechanical engineers, who have spent their careers inventing machines and calculating forces, are suddenly entering the operating room not as surgeons, but as critical contributors to neurosurgical precision, planning and creativity. This study looks into the new paradigm in which mechanical engineering principles, techniques and technologies are changing neurosurgery through robotics, biomechanics, surgical simulation and tailored medical equipment. It highlights the problems, opportunities and ethical issues at this new crossroads of disciplines.
