Abstract: This study examines the relationship between financial inclusion initiatives and economic empowerment in India. Utilising data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), the article analyses the impact of increased access to financial services on various economic indicators. The findings suggest a positive correlation between financial inclusion efforts and economic empowerment, particularly among previously underserved populations. The study highlights the importance of targeted financial literacy programs and the role of technology in expanding financial access. These insights contribute to the ongoing discourse on effective strategies for promoting inclusive economic growth in developing economies.
