Devastating Impact of Global Warming on Environment and its Mitigation

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Global warming is the phrase used to describe the gradual rise in the Earth's average surface temperature brought on by human activity, primarily the burning of fossil fuels, which produces significant quantities of greenhouse gases that trap heat and cause the world to warm. The aim of study to address the issue and stop additional harm to the environment and human welfare, mitigation and adaption techniques are required. However this review study article investigates various mitigation measures as well as the effects of global warming on the ecosystem. The scientific community's agreement that global warming is changing climate patterns, sea levels, extreme weather occurrences is discussed in the paper's opening paragraphs. The implications of global warming on ecosystems are then examined, including the loss of biodiversity, on human health, on agriculture and food security. The usefulness of various mitigation options, such as adaptation measures, nanotechnologies and mitigation policies, in lowering greenhouse gas emissions is also explored in this research. Modern society faces urgent difficulties from global warming and climate change, which call for creative solutions to lessen their consequences. The study of manipulating matter at the atomic and molecular level, known as nanotechnology, provides useful solutions for resolving these environmental problems. This article examines significant ways that nanotechnology is being used to combat global warming. This demonstrates that mitigation decreases the global warming and save the environment.
