Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The introduction substantiates the relevance and novelty of the monographic collective research, which is devoted to the little-studied phenomenon – German language prose of the first decades of the 21st century. The main part of the review provides an analytical overview of the monograph’s articles, which address the most representative for the current literary process in Germany, Austria and Switzerland works, their problem-thematic content and ideological and artistic features, formed under the influence of socio-historical and cultural factors, previous tradition and modern ideas about the art of the word. The conclusion emphasizes the systemic and complex interdisciplinary nature of the monographic study, which reconstructed a stereoscopic and multidimensional picture of literary development in German-speaking countries at this stage.
