Pemanfaatan Literasi Media Digital terhadap Siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam Pencegahan Fenomena Brain Rot

Abstract: Digital Media Literacy can increase interest and motivation in learning for elementary school students and prevent the Brain Rot Phenomenon. This phenomenon has become trending and discussed worldwide, especially Indonesia. Not a few people use technology such as gadgets more widely, thereby damaging the brain, this phenomenon is especially experienced by children. These studies that have been conducted regarding the use of digital media literacy have not been discussed comprehensively, let alone the implications of the prevention phenomenon for children. This study was conducted by the State Elementary School (SD) 100206 Pintu Padang, Kab. South Tapanuli, North Sumatra and also as primary data in this research. This research uses a qualitative approach and Bloom's Taxonomy Theory which focuses on cognitive aspects. The results of this research are in the elementary school learning process utilizing digital literacy media through animated videos and assisted by infocus. Then, the aim of the research is to provide solutions to prevent the Brain Rot phenomenon and increase interest and motivation to learn in elementary school students by using digital media wisely.
