To the mechanism of action of K-19, decovin and K-20 preparations based on tropolon alkaloids

Abstract: High activity of new drugs Dekovin and K-19 in inhibiting DNA and RNA synthesis was revealed on S. Cerevisiae yeast cells and AKATOL tumor, exceeding the inhibitory effect of etoposide and doxorubicin used as controls.The activity of K-20 is comparable to the indicators of control drugs.It is shown that Dekovin, K-19 and K-20 inhibit the activity of topoisomerases I and II and promote internucleosomal degradation of DNA in S. cerevisiae yeast cells.within 65-70% and Akatol tumor within 90%.
